2017 Ford Flex – Exterior and Interior Design:

According to the automobile manufacturer, the upcoming Flex will be built on the Ford D4 platform which is available in the Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKT. The new car is therefore expected to borrow some features from these two models. Its body will feature more lightweight materials, making it lighter than its predecessor.

The front end of the 2017 Ford Flex will get a single-bar grille decorated with chrome and flanked by modern LED headlights. The front bumper and fog lights will be redesigned. In the rear end, the new crossover will also feature LED taillights, a modified bumper, and a refurbished tailgate. The sides stand out with alloy wheels, big windows, indicators-equipped mirrors and shiny door handles.

In the interior, the 2017 Ford Flex will have quality leather in the seats and classic fabrics in the other cabin components. The materials are complimented by a beautiful color scheme. The cabin space will not be a problem in the full-size car: it will be quite roomy around the seats and at the back. The infotainment system will be upgraded and will feature a 4.2-inch touchscreen, a navigation unit and Bluetooth connectivity. The car will also be equipped with a 12-speaker Sony audio system and a climate control system, among other technological features.

With a wide range of protection features, the new car will offer safe and secure journeys. Some of the features include 6 airbags, anti-lock brake system, traction & stability control, lane-keep assist system, stability assist system, blind-spot monitors, forward collision warning, seatbelts, and adaptive cruise control. The higher trims will come with additional features such as rearview camera and parking sensors.
