As the name suggests, Honda HR-V Modulo is derived from the popular HR-V model. The subcompact crossover was seen for the first time at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show. According to the Japanese automobile manufacturer, the car will be manufactured in the Philippines and sold in the Asian markets.

Honda HR-V Modulo – Interesting Engine Mix:
According to the car manufacturer, the Modulo will be equipped with a 1.8-liter I4 engine which has a capacity of 141 hp and 128 lb-ft. The drivetrain features the Earth Dreams Technology and is backed by a continuous variable transmission (CVT) system that supports an all-wheel drive.
The car will have an estimated top speed of 125 mph. The acceleration time will be achieved from 0-to-60 mph in 10.0 seconds. Concerning fuel economy, the figures are estimated at 18 mpg in cities and 25 mpg on highways. The CO2 emissions are expected to be lower compared to most similar cars.
Furthermore, the new model of Modulo will be safer and secured just like other Honda cars. It will get protection features such as adaptive cruise control, keyless entry. Also, there will be included a lane-keep assist, electric parking brake, six airbags, blind-spot monitors, and anti-lock brake system.
Honda HR-V Modulo – Price, Availability Date, and Rivals:
The carmaker has also set the base price at $27,090 and is expected to sell the premium models at higher prices. The top price of Honda HR-V Modulo is expected to be in the region of $45,000. On the side of release date, the car will be seen on the roads in the last months of 2016. The new Honda subcompact crossover will be rivaled by Mazda CX-3, Seat Ateca SUV, Nissan Qashqai, VW Golf SUV.
