Announced at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show; the 2017 Nissan Patrol is set to impress with the modifications and improvements made on this hugely popular brand. Changes are expected in the interior and exterior though it will not lose the classic Nissan SUV look. It is the perfect family car providing class, luxury, great performance and improved fuel efficiency. The materials used intrude outside noise in the cabin for better conversation amongst passengers. There will be 3 trims available, the SV, SL and Platinum with the main difference being in upholstery used and optional additional features installed.

2017 Nissan Patrol: Inside and Out:

The exterior of the 2017 Nissan Patrol has some new refreshing additions and looks powerful and refined; the front grill has a new unique design that gives this car a bold outlook, this is complimented by circular low beam headlights and a well-shaped bumper. LED daytime driving lights and an edgy physique adds to the masculine appearance. Wheels will also see an improvement and they have been made wider for better traction, they will measure 18 inches. The overall outside look resembles a box with sharp edges.

The interior of this 2017 Nissan Patrol will have a push start button and a spacious cabin with enough legroom and headroom for all passengers, the front seats will have a heating mechanism. The extra seats at the back; when not in use fold inwards to create room for luggage. High-quality fabric, leather, and wood make up components in the interior. An 8-inch touch screen display sits in the middle of the dashboard and it gives feedback on the internal climate control mechanism, navigation maps, and infotainment purposes. There will be 13 high-quality audio speakers inside running on Nissan’s Bose audio system. Wireless internet connectivity and Bluetooth add to the entertainment features. Security features have also been incorporated and these include a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, child lock, adaptive cruise control. a blind spot monitor and multiple airbags strategically located. The platinum trim will have advanced systems like a dual-zone automatic climate control and a DVD system.

2017 Nissan Patrol – Under the Hood:

The 2017 Nissan Patrol will have 2 petrol engine options: the base engine will be a 5.6-liter V8 engine with an output of 317 hp and 385-pound foot of torque mated with a 5 or 6-speed automatic transmission. The second engine option is a hybrid motorized 5.6 liter V8 engine that will have an output of 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Customers will choose between an all wheel or front wheel drive. Nissan is yet to announce fuel economy of these two engines but it is expected to be improved. Performance wise; the towing capacity will be 8500 lb for both engine options.

2017 Nissan Patrol – Anticipating the Release Date:

The release date of the 2017 Nissan Patrol is expected to be in early 2018, there are rumors that this car will be offered as a 2018 model. Prices are expected to start at $45,000 for this luxury SUV.
