The Porsche is set to release the new 2017 Porsche 960 a mid-engine supercar that will resemble the Cayman. This coupe will be built on a new platform, the modular sports architecture that develops high strength, and low weight that have improved fuel efficiency. The exterior of the 2017 Porsche 960 will have a chassis made of lightweight materials like aluminum and carbon and will have 2 doors with the total weight below 3000 pounds. The front and back bulges outwards while the middle is narrower and has doors that open upwards. Slim stylishly shaped power side mirrors, and indented contour lines flank the sides. The 19-inch wheels fitted with high-performance tires will be standard, but this coupe will still have a low stance hence not suitable for off-road driving. The actual release date is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that the 2017 Porsche 960 will be released in late 2017 or early 2018 and be sold at prices ranging from $200,000 to $250,000. The competition will come from another luxury coupe like the Audi R8, Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Gallardo, and McLaren 12C.
