2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Review, Refreshed Appearance

The Toyota RAV4 was produced for the first time in 1994 and remains to be the best-selling compact crossover SUV from the Japanese automobile manufacturer. With indicator-equipped mirrors, longer skirts, and 17-inch alloy wheels, the car sides will look more smart and modern. When it comes to the interior, the compact crossover SUV will feature adjustable & bolstered front seats, reclining & folding rear seats and a leather-wrapped tilt & telescopic steering wheel. The car continues to offer enough room for passengers and their luggage.

Some technological features will be added in the 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid to improve its convenience and comfort. There will be a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface which will display infotainment services. There will also be a dual-zone automatic climate control, a satellite & HD radio, GPS link navigation system and connectivity options like a USB port, phone integration, and Bluetooth.

The powertrain will, of course, be a hybrid one. It will consist of a 2.5-liter turbo I4 engine, a powerful electric motor, and a nickel-metal hydride battery. The engine produces 150 hp and 172 lb-ft, and the rear wheels will be powered by a 67-hp electric motor.

The automaker will bring in a 6-speed automatic transmission system which is expected to efficiently transfer power to the wheels. The car come with a front-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive, with the former being optional.

As for fuel economy, the vehicle record 23 mpg in cities and 34 mpg on highways. In addition, the vehicle emits lesser CO2 compared to the normal models. There is no doubt about this since the vehicle is a hybrid one.

Safety and Security:

There will be basic features such seatbelts and airbags and advanced features such as steering-assisted stability control, anti-lock braking system, cruise control, blind-spot monitor, and lane keeps assist.

The 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid will cost more than the normal model. You will be required to pay around $30,000 to own it. This is around $5,000 more than the price of the normal base model. Concerning the release date, the compact crossover SUV will be available in the second quarter of 2017.
